What Else Do I Need?

New to R/C?  Here is a list of everything else you will need to get in the air.

ITEM ONE - Transmitter & Receiver

You need a minimum of 5 channel transmitter & receiver to control the craft.  Four channels are used for flight and the fifth is to set the flight mode. Option 1 is What I use:
Spektrum 6700 DX6 6 Channel System w/ AR610 Receiver

DX6i 6CH DSMX Radio System with AR610 Receiver

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K5S6KQA/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_7I4Wub16DJ1ZC   Option 3 is a bit more costly for a non computer radio but includes an excellent flight simulator. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXERVH&P=ML - This is the transmitter and flight simulator. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDPFP&P=V - This is the Receiver

ITEM TWO - Battery Pack

2200-5000mAh 3 cell LiPo battery.  I prefer the lighter packs even though the flight times are reduced the flight characteristics seem better the lighter you can keep the craft.
